Tuition

  • Fall/Spring session tuition is processed on the 25th of the month, August-March. (final month’s payment due at time of registration).
  • Annual registration fee is due at time of enrollment.
  • All customer payments are applied to tuition first.
  • Liberty Dance Center reserves the right to auto-bill the authorized credit card on file to accounts for account charges during the season.
  • Students may NOT participate in recital until all tuition and other charges are paid in full.
  • A $10 per week late charge will be added to payments received after tuition charges due date.
  • A $30 fee will apply to all returned checks.
  • Parents will be required to read and accept our on-line Parent Agreement/Waiver form before their child can participate in class.

Missed Class / Class Withdrawal Policy

  • There are NO refunds for missed classes or withdrawals from classes.
  • In the event of a closure (due to extreme weather, global pandemic, etc), classes MAY be offered in a compensatory manner via a virtual format. There will not be a refund issued in the event of a closure. 
  • In case of withdrawal, unused paid tuition will remain on account as credit for up to 24 months from the email or written notice of withdrawal for future tuition use. This credit is non-transferable.
  • Missed classes can be made up within 60 days in a class equal or below the dancer’s assigned level. Please note: makeup classes are NOT allowed during recital season, March-May.

Spring Performance

  • Our annual spring recital ish held late May/early June (contact us for this year’s dates) at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center, in Sussex, WI.
  • Detailed information will be provided throughout the season, via our dedicated recital website.

Costumes

  • All classes (with a few exceptions) will have a recital costume that needs to be purchased.
  • Dancers’ recital costume(s) will not be ordered until full payment is received.
  • Once costumes are ordered and paid for, there are no refunds or returns.

Inclement Weather Policy

  • Closings will be announced on our website, studio Facebook page and on TMJ4.
  • Please feel free to make-up cancelled classes at your convenience within 30 days. There are no refunds for classes cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Safety of our students, families and staff is our #1 priority when determining cancellations.

Communications

  • Please check your email, LDC Facebook page and in-studio postings on a regular basis.
  • Detailed recital information will be emailed, posted in studio on our recital website in February.

Student Conduct

  • Gossiping or negative about staff, fellow students, parents or other dance studios will not be tolerated.
  • Students are not allowed in dance rooms until their teacher invites them in for class.
  • Check the lost and found bin in the studio lobby on a regular basis for lost items. Each month, items left in the lost and found will be donated.
  • Please be on time and dressed appropriately for class (shoes, hair, clothing).
  • Students should address teachers and staff by “Miss / Mr.” (first name) at all times.

Parent Conduct

  • Gossiping or negative about staff, fellow students, parents or other dance studios will not be tolerated.
  • Staff is not responsible for children (students/siblings) outside of their class time.
  • Please be courteous and clean up after yourselves (put away toys, chairs, and trash).
