August 16, 2021:

We are excited to continue dancing in person for our 14th season. Please see below for our current safety protocols. If things should change, we will let you know!:

  • Face coverings are recommended, but not required.
  • In an effort to reduce the number of people in the lobby, please only stay during class if you have a child age 6 or younger. We ask that everyone else, drops their child off at the front door. Thank you in advance. (Of course, if you need to use the restroom, you are more than welcome to pop in quickly).
  • Please hand sanitize upon entering the studio and throughout your time in the building. There are hand sanitizing stations (as well as hand soap and water) all throughout the building.
  • We are no longer offering consistent virtual class(es). We phased that out during our 2021 summer program and will be fully focusing on the in-studio classroom experience.
  • And most importantly, as always…STAY HOME if you aren’t feeling well! Thank you!

June 7, 2021:

We have always strived to provide a safe, healthy space for our dancers and will continue to do so!

  • Face coverings are NO LONGER required. If you wish to still wear one, you are more than welcome to!
  • Please hand sanitize upon entering the studio and as needed during your time in the building.
  • As always, please stay home if you aren’t feeling well! Thank you in advance.
  • We are still limiting the number of people in the lobby. So please be mindful of that and don’t bring more people than are needed. But you are free to come in and observe class from time to time, and/or use the restroom as needed!
  • We will be phasing out our virtual class offerings and no longer offering that option after our 2021 summer program. We are grateful for being able to offer that option last season and are looking forward to being fully focused on the in-studio classroom experience this fall.

April 6, 2021:

We have always strived to provide a safe, healthy space for our dancers and will continue to do so!

  • Face coverings are still required, dancers 6+ and people in the lobby, while in the building.
  • Please hand sanitize upon entering the studio and as needed during your time in the building.
  • Stay home if you aren’t feeling well! We have all of our classes offered virtually via zoom, so you don’t have to miss out on class.
  • We are still limiting the number of people in our building, so only one parent (small children may come with you of course, if needed) may stay in the building during class. Otherwise, we ask that you drop off and pick up outside our front entrance.

November 18, 2020:

SAFER STUDIO™: As you know, we have worked REALLY hard for months on our safety policies to ensure that we can stay open and provide a much needed place for our students to dance and see their friends. The whole list is on our website, but a few important reminders as we enter the holiday season:

  • If you don’t feel well (or have been exposed to someone that is ill) stay home and dis-DANCE with us via zoom. Zoom links are attached to every weekly email. Better safe than sorry!
  • If you are quarantined (close contact or tested positive), you are not allowed to come to dance (or school or anything) until your quarantine period is over. Dance with us virtually!!
  • Our lobby is closed, with the exception of ONE adult with any dancer ages 6 and younger. (If you have a small child that you need to bring with you, that is fine).
  • While you are in the lobby, please maintain social distancing.
  • Masks are required for anyone ages 6 and older, dancers and parents.
  • Please use the hand santizer upon arrival and before/after class.

We are VERY proud of the fact that we have been open since June with NO major issues or positive cases. Yes, we have had to give a few friendly reminders to stay distanced and wear your mask properly but that is to be expected 🙂  Thank you for your cooperation in being cautious and following our safety protocols. Thank you to our amazing teachers that give fun, productive classes while maintaining social distancing and cleaning in between classes. Thank you to Mr. Mike for keeping the common areas clean. It definitely takes a village but we believe it is all worth it. We have gotten SO many sweet notes over the past 8 months, saying how dance has been the one constant in these kids’ lives. We have heard how being able to dance has been MASSIVELY needed to maintain strong mental and emotional health. And we will continue to to what it takes to make sure that we can provide that safe outlet for our dancers during this crazy time.

Reminder October 25, 2020:

If your dancer is in quarantine, they are more than welcome to participate in dance class via zoom. But per the direction of the County Health Department, they should NOT be attending dance in person (or anything) during the quarantine. Please make sure to follow these guidelines so we can continue to stay open and provide a safe environment for our dancers and staff.

Update August 19, 2020

A few reminders for you:

  • Classes Start Monday, August 24
  • Please familiarize yourself with our Safer Studio procedures (which can be found on our website and via this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13FmNTo9gAW6kLKPYwvGRcQbPYWWjoXgjG1N67k2U77s/edit?usp=sharing
  • Our lobby is closed and we are asking that only 1 parent come in with dancers ages 6 and younger.
    • Have a little one with you or 2 young dancers with back to back classes? No problem! They can come inside with you.
  • We ARE following the State Mask Mandate, so dancers ages 6 and up will need to wear a mask during class (optional, but encouraged for dancers in 2-3 and 4-5-year-old classes). Anyone in the lobby will need to wear a mask.
  • Dancers with a half-hour break between classes, you are welcome to stay. Dancers with a longer break, we ask they get picked up (or contact us to see about an alternate arrangement).
  • Forgot what classes you registered for? No worries…we will be re-sending out class confirmations soon too!
  • EXCITING: We have EACH of our 4 dance rooms Tech-Enabled, meaning that they each have a large screen TV, enhanced sound system, and dedicated laptop so we can live stream every class. Need to stay home? Join us via zoom! Not comfortable dancing in person yet? See you on Zoom! This will ensure that we can provide continuous service regardless of what curveball gets thrown our way!
    • See the attachment for zoom links-based on which room the class is in.

We have been working hard all summer to make sure we do our best to provide as safe and as positive an environment as we can for our dance family. If you have any questions, we are here to help! And if we don’t have the answer yet, we will find it!  We also ask that everyone offers grace to each other as we are all navigating this new and ever-changing situation. We want to thank you in advance for your support.
