Our school year season starts in late August and runs through late May. This program finishes with our annual spring recital the weekend after Memorial Day. We accept registrations for this program through the end of January, based on class availability. We use the dancer’s age as of September 1st to determine age group. For leveled classes, teacher recommendation will determine the best level for the dancer.

We offer a 6 week summer session, along with fun one day themed summer camps and master classes. These shorter options are an excellent time for first time dancers to sign up for classes. It’s also a great chance to try a new style!

We use the child’s age as of September 1st to determine age group placement. For leveled classes, there are many factors that are considered. If there are any questions or concerns about placement, we are here to help. Every dancer develops at their own timing and ensuring they have their best experience is what matters most to us!

Our Preschool program introduces young dancers to dance basics while instilling the fun and joy dance provides. These classes also enhance gross motor development and listening skills and they nurture the creative spirit. A great chance to start learning life skills as well as dance skills.

Our Tap/Ballet combo class teaches basic tap and ballet movements in an upbeat 45 minute, once-a-week class.

We also offer Tap/Ballet/Tumbling class that includes 15 minutes of basic tumbling skills in an upbeat 60 minute, once a week class.

We offer two types of classes for this age group.

Looking for something more classic? Our Tap/Ballet combo class teaches basic ballet, tap and "jazz" movements in an upbeat 60-minute, once-a-week class.

Does your little one have lots of energy to get out? Our upbeat Flip Flop/Hip-Hop class, teaches basic hip-hop movements AND basic tumbling skills in a high energy 30-minute, once a week class.

We also offer our Darby’s Dancers program for children with special needs for children 5 years and older.

Performing in front of an audience is very beneficial! It gives the dancers a goal to work towards, requires discipline and hard work, and gives the dancers a sense of accomplishment. We do a few in-studio "show weeks" along with our annual spring recital where our dancers perform on-stage to audiences of families and friends. It is a core memory experience they will never forget!

For dancers looking for additional opportunities to perform, we also offer 3 different performance teams providing even greater opportunity to perform!

Sparkle Squad is for our younger dancers (ages 4-9) giving them a chance to be part of a team and participate in local community events, fundraisers and performances!

Performing Company gives the dancers the opportunity to take part in 8-10 additional community performances including major sporting events, local seniors centers, parades, a local competition and more! Performing Company is for dancers ages 8 and older.

Our Competition Team travels throughout Wisconsin. Competition team competes 4 times per year along with dance conventions and in-studio intensive workshops. Competition Team is for dancers ages 11 and older.
