- WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
- Our students’ and staff’s safety is our number one priority. Closings due to inclement weather will be announced on our answering machine.
- Please make up classes missed due to inclement weather within 30 days.
- STUDENT/PARENT CONDUCT
- Please be respectful. No gossiping or negative talking about teachers, office personnel, fellow students, parents and/or other studios.
- Please do not let your child into the dance studio until the teacher calls them in for class. Teachers are only responsible for students during class time. Office personnel are not responsible for children at anytime.
- Siblings and students are welcome to play with the toys provided. Parents are expected to watch siblings during class time and make sure that the toys get put back when you are finished using them.
- Please be courteous and clean up after yourself.
- Check the lost and found bin regularly for lost items.
- Please be on time and dressed properly for class. Arriving late is disruptive to the class and may result in injury. If you arrive late, enter the studio quietly and stretch in the back of the studio until your teacher feels you are properly warmed-up.
- Parents and family members may observe classes in the studio twice during the fall/spring session. These dates are provided in the studio’s calendar.
- OTHER

- Students are encouraged to attend all classes they are enrolled in.
- Students are enrolled and their place is held in class for the entire school year. To withdraw from class, parent/guardian must sign and date the “Class Withdrawal” line at the bottom of the registration form. Phone calls, e-mails or through telling the teacher is not acceptable. - You are responsible for checking the bulletin board for important information. Please check it EVERY WEEK, as it is updated often.
- Classes not meeting minimum enrollment of 4 may be rescheduled, shortened or cancelled. Please have an alternate class in mind.
- Excessive absences may require the student to move to a lower class level or attend private lessons at an additional charge.
- Students wishing to enroll in a pointe class must have taken at least a year of pre-pointe class and/or have approval from the director. Pointe (and pre-pointe) students must be simultaneously enrolled in a ballet class.
- Students are expected to address their teacher by “Miss/Mr. (first name)” at all times.
- There will be times when teachers will need to employ “hands on” adjustments when correcting a student. Should the student feel uncomfortable, please let their teacher know.
- Students are placed in classes according to their age, experience and/or ability and are advanced individually through levels at the discretion of the teacher.
- Questions, comments or suggestions should be addressed with the director, Miss Kate. Feel free to call or set-up an appointment to meet. Thank you!
