Liberty Dance Center, LLC is proud to announce two new affiliations the studio has joined to impact the community and our dance students.
We have entered into a partnership with a 501 (C) non-profit Darby’s Dancers to start a dance education program for special needs children in the area. The program will be completely FREE for the dancers including class tuition, dance shoes and more. We are planning to launch this tremendous program with a pilot class of 5-10 dancers starting with our 2017 summer session. We will be looking for student volunteers as well as business sponsors. If you know of a family of a special needs child, a business that might donate to the program or a student who is interested in volunteering, let us know. Liberty Dance Center is excited to be part of this national organization and in fall we plan on becoming a fully certified YPAD studio.
This non-profit organization focuses on developing strong self-esteem for kids giving them (and their parents) the skills and resources to guide them through the difficult issues young kids face each day (social media, bullying, body image,etc.). The group’s advisory panel consists of top PH.D specialists and dance leaders. Check out their website for more info! www.ypad4change.org
